  • Glow Tiki Submitted by: Danielle Lavoie Materials Required: Tikis, acrylic paint, glow powder, soft gel. Procedure: To make the glowing tiki paintings I designed the tikis and then painted them thickly with acrylic paint. When they had dried I added a glaze over the lighter areas of the glow powder mixed with a soft gel medium. I can't give exact ratios as I kind of played with it til I got an effect I wanted.

Gathered clear glass over the top and sculpted the octopus from it. Glows for hours!

OVERVIEW

 READY SET GLO’s. GLOW IN THE DARK POWDERS are formulated USING NEXT GENERATION long persistence phosphorescent pigment ( alkaline earth aluminate activated by rare earth ions). The brightness and length of persistence time is tens times than those of conventional phosphor; zinc sulfide found in local stores.


It is non-toxic and harmless and free from any radioactive additives. Excitation and emission can be repeated indefinitely.
You can use our powders for making GLOW IN THE DARK PAINTS, GLOW FISHING LURES, GLOW WALL MURALS, & GLOW CANDLES just to name a few.

    We really think that this is an excellent product, but made many calls and sent many emails in regard to being shorted product, as 1/2lb is 8 oz and customs envelope reads 7oz,wondering if that weight includes the packagingas well, was told would be priced in Canadian funds was US, nobody has called me back regarding my issues.

    Hi,
    may at first im a german student who was looking for a night glowing pigment for about 3 weeks i was earching for Strontium-Alminium based doped pugments in germany under 20 $ for 10 g but i didnt find anythink ...
    now i got mime yesterday and it is just amazingly bright its just no comparison to ZnS : Cu stuff
