WHAT TO CHOOSE?- PAINT, PELLETS, POWDER OR GLOW SHEETS?
Depending on the glow color you chose our paint can achieve up to 12 hours of glow.
Ready Set Glo's paints are developed specifically for the Strontium photoluminescent
pigments keeping in mind that most paints on the market today using any kind of glow
pigment have a major problem of pigments settling and thus makes it very hard to apply
even coats. We have overcome this problem, and you will find our paints have pigment
uniformly dispersed through out.
PAINT
If you require painting a surface we suggest using our Premade Glow Paints. Although you can
readily mix them into a paint at home, you will not be able to produce a high end product
similar to ours that was many months in development. Most clear coats at your local store
are linseed oil based and will tend to turn amber over time. Our Solvent paints are crystal
clear with no UV filters, so luminescent properties are not obscured in any way.
HEAT 'N DIP
If you are coating jig heads, you will want to go with our Heat N Dip Powder Paint. They are
specially designed for applying to fishing tackle. Simple to use and no mess.
PLASTIC MASTER BATCH PELLETS
Pellets/Master batches are specially manufactured for Plastic Injection/Extrusion Molding
purposes. Plastic molding is used mainly for the production of glow in the dark plastic products.
Some companies suggest using the powders but we do not recommend it . Using the raw powder form
can lead to a greying effect of the final product.
POWDER
If you require anything else to glow, or have a unique idea, use our Glow Powders. For
example, they work great in gel candles, wax, acrylic and gel nails, ceramics, fabric, and
concrete, just to name a few. Be sure to check out our wide selection of photos and ideas.
GLOW ADHESIVE SHEETS/FILM
If you require a thin flexible and easily cut glow sheeting, use our Glow Film.
It has an adhesive back, and can be stuck to most clean surfaces. This product is great
for kids....create your own glow stickers!
