Glow in the Dark Flashlights / Maglights
Glowing Flashlight Maglite
I first masked off the area to be painted, then applied 2 coats of white nail polish to
give it a white surface to enhance the glow. I then filled an empty nail polish bottle
with approximately ¼ aqua glow powder, then filled the rest of the bottle with clear acrylic
paint and added a couple of stainless steel bearings to help mix the paint. After thoroughly
mixing the powder into the paint I applied about 4 coats of the mixed glow paint to the 3D
Maglite Flashlight. After allowing the paint to try I then applied a coat of clear nail polish
to protect and smooth out the painted surface. The results are awesome, making the flashlight
extremely easy to find in the dark. The 3D Maglite has also been modified to use a Luxeon3
white LED and is insanely bright! I hope you enjoy the pics.

Glow in the Dark LED Headlight
I covered the reflector of my LED headlight with the same mixture as above. The LEDs
charge the GITD paint, when you turn off the light, you can always locate the headlight
or change your batteries.
Glow in the Dark LED Nightlight
A little LED nightlight: this nightlight works on standard 12 V DC transfo. The circuit
board is coated with white epoxy wich is mixed with 20% green glow powder. When you turn it
off, it glows and glows and glows.

More Glow in the Dark Remote Control
Remote control: a large area and a few important buttons are covered with 3 coats of aqua
glow powder and clear nail polish (25% ratio). Base coat is white correction fluid. Now I will
never lose my remote control again!
