SCHOOL RING
Submitted by: DANIEL K.DES. Long Island NY
Materials Required:
a ring, glow paint
Procedure:
Here is a sampling of only ONE of the uses I have found for your RED Strontium Sulfide
phosphor powder. My class ring from 1968 had a cracked synthetic emerald, which I had not replaced in
these many years, so I poured an epoxy mix using your powder into the orifice and this is what came out.
People who have seen it go: 'ooooohhh and aaaawwwwwhhhh' because they have not seen anything like
this before. The surface is original with NO POLISHING AGENT of any kind used, since epoxy is relatively
'gummy-hard' and can easily dull with abrasives. This is a good eye catcher.
