Glow KeyChain
Submitted by: Sierra
Materials Required:
Key chain and some glow paint
Procedure:
I mixed pigment with "yelloway" UV absorbing nail polish, and applied it in the circular depression on the back of a Photon III light with a toothpick.
I keep the light on my
keychain, and the glowspot helps me to find the light if I need it. I used orange for my red light, and
aqua for my turquoise one, so I can tell which is which.

Key Chain

Materials Required:
4"x5" sheet of Shrinky Dinks plastic.
glow paints
Procedure:
First I took a 4"x5" sheet of Shrinky Dinks plastic.
Next I rounded off the edges
and poked 2 holes in the top with a hole punch.
Then I drew a picture with colored pencils on the
rough side and wrote on the smooth side with permanent marker.
With a soft dry paint brush I
dusted a light coating of glow powder on the top of the rough side.
Finally I baked in a 325* oven
for 4 minutes. Follow directions that come with the Shrinky Dinks. When cool tap it on the side so the
extra glow powder comes off so you can reuse it.
Add a key chain.
I washed off the key
chain to make sure it would hold the powder. I also tested the cheep shrink sheets I bought at the dollar
store and they didn't hold the powder as well.
