Fish Lures: TACKLE AND RODS

Glow in the dark fishing lures do work!!
Once you get 8-10 feet from the surface the water will be extremely dark... perfect for you glow lures. Different colors travel different distances through water. Blue the farthest, green next, yellow, orange, and reds in decreasing order of distance traveled.

For example, a bright orange lure will actually look like a grey shade to fish Fisherman find lures that have gold or silver on them to be very effective due to the "flash " element added.

Our many customers including tackle manufacturing companies find that enhancing lures with a bit of "glow" creates they same effect that entices fish. The glow attracts the fish from a greater distance but the lure needs to be realistic and bait-like when the predator fish swims in and decides to attack or not.

Methods:
Jigs- For jig heads we recommend our Heat ' N dip Powder paint. Simple to use, and dries to a rock hard, high gloss finish.

Spoons/crank baits- A few options here. You can either dip/hand paint or airbrush.

Molded lures- Use our high grade master batch pellets that will be impregnated through molded lure

Species
Bass: Use more natural patterns with muted glows in clear water. Move to louder patterns and brighter glows in stained water. In fall and spring bass do hit the louder colors and whites.

Walleye: Walleye see reds and oranges better than bass so these colors and glows work well.

Northern Pike: The Dare Devil is the best know lure for Pike. Accent the RED on lure with red glow paint Trout: Natural colors with glow and blacks with glow have been reported effective.

Time of Day
A lot of people think that glowing lures are best for night fishing and murky water. They ACTUALLY work even better in mid afternoon. Glowing lures are charged by ultraviolet light. On a bright sunny day, the sunlight is full of UV rays that charge these lures.

Directions:
1) First, make sure the wall you plan to decorate is clean and dry.
2) Then pour a shallow layer of white wall paint into a flat-bottomed container (you need an opaque white undercoat to make the buildings clearly visible during daylight).
